Thrifty Thursday: DIY Camera Stand & Light

Recently, I clicked on a video on the Yahoo sidebar that provided the directions for this genius idea so I cannot take the credit as an original DIY. I wasn't able to find the original video bur I definitely wanted to share this idea with my readers!

What you will need:
  • Camera with stand adapter hole
  • Lamp with shade (standard-size screw)
  • A working light bulb (mine is 60 watts)

Directions
1. Remove your lamp shade.

You will be left with something that looks like this:

2. Screw your camera on top of your lamp where the shade goes and BAM.. you have a camera stand!

Need some additional light for your photo? Turn the lamp on!
