Makeup Monday: DIY Spa Essentials- Fall Edition

So, one of my first posts on my blog were DIY spa essentials, which included a bunch of homemade spa recipes and other DIY products. Since I really love making homemade spa products, I decided to do a Fall Edition! Most of the items that I am about to give you recipes for contain ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.



Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Dry Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2 Tablespoon Lotion
  • 2-3 Drops of Food Coloring (Optional)

-Mix all ingredients and keep an in airtight jar. Use in the shower to scrub off dead skin.


Oatmeal Face Mask
  • 1/2 Cup Ground Oatmeal
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Rosemary Flakes
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

-Mix all ingredients. Add 1 Tablespoon of Water at a time until the mixture has a paste-consistency. Use immediately. This item should be made fresh for each use. Make your mixture weekly to keep your skin fresh.


Pumpkin Bath Soak
  • 3/4 Cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Sea Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 2-3 Drops of Food Coloring (Optional)

-Mix all ingredients and keep an in airtight jar. Use in bath to relax with a Fall favorite scent!


Skintone Correcting Scrub
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Honey
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced
  • 2-3 Drops of Food Coloring (Optional)

-Mix all ingredients and keep an in airtight jar. Use to keep an even skintone when using sunless tanner regularly.


Foot Soak
  • 1/4 Cup Listerine
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Warm Water

-Mix all ingredients and soak feet for 15-20 minutes. Use a pumas scrub to get any dead skin left behind. Leaves your feet feeling smooth!
