DIY- Homemade Spa Essentials

There is nothing better than a product that you can make from things in your home! Here are a few great recipes for making your own spa essentials with things that you probably already have:

Lemon-Sugar Hand Scrub
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
-Mix all ingredients and keep in an airtight container.

Body Scrub
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • Add Tablespoons of Brown Sugar until Thick
-Mix all ingredients and keep in an airtight container.

Bubble Bath
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Unscented Shampoo
  • 3-4 Pumps of Hand Soap
  • 3 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Olive Oil
Note: Food Coloring Optional if you would like to add color to your bubble bath :)

-Mix all ingredients and keep in an airtight container.

Make-up Remover
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons Tear-Free Baby Shampoo
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Tear-Free Baby Oil
  • 1 Cup Water
- Mix all in container and shake well. If your makeup isn't coming off as easily as it could, add more oil.

Hair Treatment
  • 1 Cup Honey
  • 1 Cup Olive Oil
-Mix ingredients and put in hair (I would do it in the shower). Leave in for five minutes, rinse, shampoo, and done.

  1. I never liked the price of mascara remover so I checked its ingredients. It is only baby oil and scent. So I started using straight baby oil to remove my mascara and it works great; no water, just the baby oil.

  2. Baby oil is what removes the makeup, the other ingredients make it more gentle for your skin. Its just one way to be nicer to your face you know?! Try it!
